Job Description

Role: Release Manager

  • Daily Rate £650
  • IR35 Status In scope
  • Duration 6 months
  • Location Remote/Home-based

Clearance Requirement Candidates must hold Security Check (SC) clearance, or be eligible to apply for SC. Commencement of engagement is contingent on successful clearance.

Specific Requirements

  • Prior release management experience is essential.
  • Out-of-hours (OOH) working may be required.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and obtain approval for the release strategy for the end-state Programme.
  • Ensure release strategy and processes are aligned across all workstreams where possible.
  • Implement necessary process changes to transition to the end-state release strategy in support of the delivery roadmap.

Essential Experience

  • Demonstrable expertise in effective release management for multi-tier technology estates.
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior release management experience.
  • Proficiency in source control, code management, branching, and build pipelines.
  • Track record in creating, managing, and publishing release roadmaps.
  • Experience in implementing automated release management capabilities.
  • Previous involvement in managing multiple test environments and related release schedules.
