Job Description

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Brno R&D team as a Release Manager. In this role, you will help introduce structured product release management that supports the development of control systems for VELUX roof windows and their accessories.

Meet your future team:

You will join an international team working on future-ready solutions for mechatronic products and system ecosystems. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in Denmark, with occasional travel of up to 15 days per year to support joint activities and strengthen cross-location alignment.

What you will do:

· Introduce systematic and structured product release management.

· Create and maintain the product release calendar.

· Define and track QA targets.

· Approve gate deliverables and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

· Manage firmware packages and release documentation.

· Plan and oversee release deployment.

· Analyze end-customer feedback and provide input to product development.

· Continuously improve test and release-related processes.

· Collaborate intensively across the organization (product owners, development teams, test teams, compliance, technical support).

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who communicates clearly, enjoys coordinating with various stakeholders, and approaches tasks in a structured and analytical way. You are comfortable collaborating across locations and motivated to continue developing your skills in a dynamic international environment.

Moreover, we need you to have:

· A university degree in electronics, informatics, or automation (B.Sc. or M.Sc.).

· 8+ years of experience as a specialist in release management, quality assurance, or related areas.

· Strong experience with quality assurance.

· Solid understanding of release management methodologies.

· Experience with IoT products and ecosystems.

· Knowledge of CI/CD.

· Czech and English language skills for daily communication internally and with colleagues in other locations.

We also value if you have:

· Experience with Git.

· Experience with Azure, Jira or similar tools.

· Driving license
