About the role We are seeking an experienced Relativity Administrator to manage, configure, and maintain our Relativity eDiscovery platform across active litigation matters. You will serve as the firm's primary technical subject matter expert for all things Relativity — from workspace setup and processing through production — and act as the critical bridge between attorneys and IT.
Key responsibilities
Administer, configure, and maintain Relativity workspaces, processing sets, and review workflows
Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and system performance across all active matters
Build and optimize custom fields, layouts, choices, views, and saved searches to support case teams
Perform data processing, ingestion, quality review, and production using Relativity Desktop Client (RDC)
Troubleshoot platform issues and escalate to RelativityOne support when needed
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and vendors on eDiscovery workflows and best practices
Train and support legal staff on Relativity functionality and new features
Maintain current knowledge of Relativity updates, analytics tools (Active Learning, Assisted Review), and AI features
Ensure data security, confidentiality, and EDRM compliance on all matters
Requirements
Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) — required
3+ years of hands-on Relativity administration experience in a law firm or legal services environment
Strong understanding of eDiscovery workflows and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
Proficiency with Relativity Desktop Client, Processing Sets, and .DAT/.OPT load file modification
Familiarity with SQL databases, Windows Server, and basic scripting a strong plus
Excellent communication skills — able to work fluently with both legal and IT teams
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
CEDS (Certified eDiscovery Specialist) certification
Experience with RelativityOne (cloud-hosted)
Familiarity with Nuix, Everlaw, or Concordance
Background in energy, IP, or commercial litigation environments
