Job Description

As a Relationship Officer, you will play a crucial role in the bank's Loans Against Gold division. Your primary focus will be on developing and managing relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs, and offering tailored solutions. You will be the face of the bank, representing its values and services to potential and existing clients.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of customers, focusing on high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand customers' financial requirements and offer suitable gold loan products.
  • Promote and market the bank's gold loan offerings through various channels, including personal interactions, events, and digital platforms.
  • Ensure timely processing and approval of gold loan applications, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective strategies for promoting gold loan products and increasing brand awareness.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, loan applications, and follow-up activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets by actively sourcing and converting leads into successful loan applications.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or customer service, preferably in the banking or financial industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Excellent customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering a positive and personalized experience.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and other relevant software for data management and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse portfolio of customers.
  • A self-motivated and results-driven approach, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
