Job Description

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with farmers, tractor dealers, and other stakeholders in the agricultural industry. This role involves understanding their financial needs, offering tailored crop finance solutions, and providing excellent customer service. The manager will work closely with the TFE-Retail Sales department to ensure a seamless and efficient loan process.

  • Build and maintain a strong network of relationships with tractor dealers, farmers, and agricultural businesses.
  • Understand the financial requirements of clients and offer suitable tractor loan and crop finance solutions.
  • Process and approve loan applications efficiently, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
  • Provide regular updates and support to clients throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and cross-sell other bank products.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Manage and resolve client queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential target segments for tractor loans.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports on loan performance and client relationships to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to loan disbursement and customer relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in relationship management, preferably in the agricultural or tractor finance sector.
  • Strong knowledge of tractor and agricultural equipment financing, including loan products and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM systems is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for business travel.
