Job Description

Join Private Wealth Management at SEB as a Relationship Manager and play a pivotal role in our ambitious growth journey in southern Sweden. Leverage your expertise to attract new clients, drive business development, and build lasting relationships from day one.

Since SEB was founded in 1856, our focus on customers and long-term relationships has been at the heart of our success. We aim to drive positive change by providing capital to help everyone reach their goals and accelerate progress towards a sustainable tomorrow. As a leading financial services group in northern Europe, we'll help you grow and empower you to take on more responsibility to create a real difference. Welcome to SEB.

About the role:

Private Wealth Management is in an exciting growth phase, with ambitious plans for the coming years, and new client acquisition is a vital strategic part of this journey. As a Relationship Manager, you will be central to PWM's growth agenda, identifying, attracting, and initiating relationships with potential Private Wealth clients in southern Sweden. This is a highly business-driven role focused on creating momentum through structured and proactive prospecting. You will work closely with Wealth Planners, specialists, and Client Executives to ensure high-quality engagement from initial contact to client hand-over.

A key part of this role is to build SEB’s presence beyond our existing network and actively identify new business opportunities in the broader business community. You are expected to be visible in external forums, cultivate relevant networks, and engage with entrepreneurs, advisors, and other key stakeholders where future clients and business opportunities emerge. This means being curious about the local business landscape, understanding what drives people and companies, and being prepared to represent SEB in external settings, including evening events when relevant.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

  • Documented experience in new client acquisition, prospecting, or business development.
  • Experience from banking, finance, wealth management, or other advisory/business-oriented activities.
  • Proven ability to build trust and cultivate long-term relationships with clients.
  • Good understanding of financial services and comprehensive solutions.
  • A Swedsec license (Rådgivare) is required for this role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working towards clear KPIs and sales targets.
  • A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently with a high degree of self-leadership.
  • A valid driver’s license, as the role involves regular travel.

What we offer:

  • Hybrid work model, meaning remote work is possible up to 1 day/week
  • International opportunities and working environment
  • A diverse, inclusive and equal environment
  • Entrepreneurial Scandinavian environment
  • Extensive training and learning opportunities

Do you want to be part of SEB?

It is our fundamental belief that inclusion and diversity is crucial for our future success. We strive to have an inclusive, value-driven culture where employees feel valued, respected, and involved irrespective of who they are, what they believe or where they come from.

Since we select candidates continuously, feel free to send in your application today via the link in this ad, but no later than 2026-06-11. If you have questions about the position, please contact Mattias Bunner, Head of Client Acquisition, at mattias.bunner@seb.se or Ander Lindman, Head of PWM&FO South, at anders.lindman@seb.se, please note that we will not process applications via email.
