  • Reporting to the SRM-SBA, the candidate is to take charge and focus on the market segment of their location or respective regions (Central, Northern or Southern region) in areas of State Govt, Local Govt, Statutory Bodies, GLCs, Corporate and its related entities and “Other segment” assigned by the management with objective to expand and grow the business/market share of Group Corporate Banking and also cross selling of the Bank’s Group products.
  • To make in-road into new market areas and also expanding the existing database in supporting the overall objectives of the Bank and Group.
  • To achieve set goals by performing marketing activities and arranging for strategic business alliances with the aforementioned target customers above in order to achieve assigned targets for deposits products, cross selling in financing products & services and provide excellent services to exceed, meet or in line with the overall objective and interest of the Bank and Group.
  • To assist immediate superior to carry out projects or assigned tasks and ensure that they are achieved successfully as per set goals, time, budget and resources.
  • To strategies, drive, secure and grow the deposit product portfolio including CASA, Term Deposits, and any products offered to the market.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To actively carry out marketing activities and promote/sell Affin Islamic and Affin Bank Group products (Asset & Liability) to the target market segment.
  • To increase market and wallet share of the Bank’s group by actively cross sell other products i.e financing, retail products, wealth management products, and others
  • To work in team and also individually to ensure individual and overall targets are achieved.
  • To keep abreast/continuously updated on Bank’s latest products including competitors’ moves.
  • To establish new and also growing the network of clients from both existing (ETB) and also new to Bank (NTB).
  • To ensure good quality customer base for the Bank and ensuring to protect the best interest of the Bank.
  • To be alert of market changes and provide market feedback to superior/management through reports and/or during periodic meeting with immediate head.
  • Keep close contact with existing and new customers and other potential customers to push new and existing products and/or getting referrals.
  • To ensure assigned tasks are completed successfully and relevant reports are completed accurately and submitted before the deadline.
  • To liaise, co-operate and co-ordinate with other staff (internal / other relevant departments) so as to maintain good teamwork in order to achieve Bank’s and Group goals.
  • To ensure compliance to the Bank’s procedures, guidelines, policies and all relevant guidelines.
  • To execute all duties/tasks in a professional and responsible manner and be self-conscious in one’s behavior so as to maintain the good and professional corporate image of the Bank at all times.
  • Undertaking any other job functions as may be assigned by the superiors from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • At least 2 years working experience in related field
  • Possesses good sales & marketing acumen and have sales-oriented attitude
  • Good understanding about banking product business
  • Strong analytical background and result oriented
  • Good business communication and writing skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Computer literate with good command in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Power Point
