
The opportunity: Relationship Manager Global Network Banking

What you will do:
Global Network Banking (GNB) provides banking coverage to the subsidiaries of customers within the large corporate and mid- market enterprise segments. The GNB strategy is to provide consistent, in-depth and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the end goal to deepen our relationship with our customers. The GNB business is a significant contributor of revenue to the bank and consists of a network of dedicated bankers across more than 40 countries.
In this role you will:
• Deliver sustainable revenue growth from existing clients and targeted acquisition of new, quality customers.
• Build and execute proactive client contact plans and manage a robust deal pipeline.
• Monitor portfolio performance and generate quality assets using appropriate risk tools, within HSBC and customer risk appetite.
• Structure and price credit facilities prudently to balance customer needs and HSBC returns.
• Grow international/cross-border business by leveraging the HSBC network and partners.
• Maintain accurate, timely client and pipeline data on relevant systems.
• Collaborate with Global Businesses, Product and Service partners, and Risk to identify opportunities, validate risk profiles, and address emerging issues early.
• Provide market-leading client service and represent HSBC professionally, while meeting conduct/fairness standards, mandatory training, and contributing to team success.
You should apply if you have:
• Demonstrated experience in managing commercial client relationships with international needs.
• Strong business development track record.
• Risk and control knowledge (risk concepts/methodologies, governance)
• Ability to identify customer needs and match them to a broad product/service range.
• Solid commercial awareness (economic, cultural, regulatory and procedural factors).
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage customers at all seniority levels.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentations).
• Strong planning, organization and time management; resilient and able to work autonomously.
• Fluent English plus essential French and/or Dutch.

What you’ll get in return:
The pay range for this role is 56,000 € - 70,000 €
