Lead key client relationships across Fund Services.

MUFG Pension & Market Services is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of key clients across our Fund Solutions business.

This is a senior client-facing role for a Fund Services professional who combines strong industry knowledge with commercial acumen, relationship management and the ability to navigate complex client and stakeholder environments.

You'll bring experience across Fund Administration, Custody and Transfer Agency, with the confidence to lead senior client discussions, manage complex issues, negotiate service arrangements and identify opportunities to grow and strengthen client relationships.

About the Role

You'll take end-to-end ownership of key client relationships, working closely with Client Service Managers, Operations, Transition, Technology and other internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage a portfolio of strategic Fund Services client relationships.
• Act as a senior point of contact and escalation for complex client matters.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and understand their business needs.
• Lead client service reviews and strategic client discussions.
• Manage client expectations and ensure services are delivered against agreed SLAs, KPIs and contracts.
• Lead negotiations relating to contracts, SLAs, fee schedules and service arrangements.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve issues and deliver client initiatives effectively.
• Identify opportunities for additional services, new mandates and revenue growth.
• Monitor client profitability and develop a strong understanding of revenue and servicing costs.
• Provide reporting and insights to senior stakeholders on client engagement and service delivery.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to strategic projects and initiatives.
• Coach and support colleagues, contributing to a strong client service culture.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for an experienced Fund Services professional with strong commercial and relationship management capability.

You'll bring:

• Significant experience in Fund Services, with a strong understanding of Fund Administration, Custody and Transfer Agency.
• Proven experience managing complex client relationships within financial services.
• Strong commercial acumen, including experience with fees, contracts, SLAs and client profitability.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple business units.
• A solutions-focused approach, with the ability to take ownership of complex issues and drive them through to resolution.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and Fund Services products and solutions.
• Leadership capability, including experience coaching or mentoring others.
• Strong business awareness and the ability to understand both client and organisational priorities.
• A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach, with the ability to operate effectively in a changing environment.

A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Financial Markets or a related discipline is preferred.
