As a Business Relationship Manager, you will be the face of ANZ for our Business Banking customers, building deep, trusted relationships and delivering market‑leading banking solutions that support the success of their businesses and personal financial needs.
This role is focused on providing high‑quality, face‑to‑face relationship management, taking a whole‑of‑customer view across business and personal banking. You will work closely with the Pacific Business Team, Commercial and Retail colleagues to ensure customers experience seamless service and credit outcomes, while promoting the value of ANZ’s Pacific operating model.

As a Business Relationship Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
• Build, manage and grow a portfolio of business customers through proactive relationship management and needs‑based banking solutions
• Originate and progress quality lending opportunities by gathering, validating and submitting credit information in line with ANZ credit policies
• Deepen existing customer relationships and actively acquire new quality business
• Deliver a consistent and high‑quality customer experience, owning issues and complaints through to resolution
• Actively promote digital banking solutions and simplified ways of working to enhance customer experience and efficiency
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth progression of customer and credit activities
• Maintain strong community presence and represent ANZ’s brand and purpose in‑market
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Proven experience in business relationship management and lending/credit within a financial services environment
• Strong capability in building trusted customer relationships and conducting effective needs‑based conversations
• Sound understanding of banking products, digital solutions and credit processes
• Ability to identify and progress quality lending opportunities in line with policy and risk expectations
• Well‑developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong discipline in operational risk, compliance and process adherence
• A customer‑first mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and service excellence
