The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a seasoned Relationship Manager to partner directly with a highly experienced senior advisor in serving a select group of exceptionally sophisticated families. This is an opportunity to learn from one of the industry’s brightest stars about managing the financial affairs of complex family offices, while recognizing that mastering a craft of this depth and sophistication requires time, patience, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Location

• The candidate will be based in the Denver, CO Area.
• This is a highly travel-oriented position, with travel expected to represent approximately 60-
• 65% depending on client needs and the advisor’s schedule.

What You Will Do

• Partner closely with the senior advisor to support a highly sophisticated and multigenerational client base
• Help lead and execute complex family-office and business consulting initiatives
• Research, analyze and coordinate tax, estate, business and financial matters
• Support business transactions, investments and major client projects
• Coordinate with attorneys, CPAs, investment professionals and other outside advisors
• Participate in client meetings and develop trusted relationships with family members and professional advisors
• Manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously and maintain momentum through long-term projects
• Develop increasing ownership of client relationships and responsibilities
• Learn the firm’s proprietary approach to comprehensive family-office consulting
• Progress toward becoming the senior advisor’s long-term successor

Who You Are

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong expertise in one or more areas relevant to complex family-office consulting, such as

• Tax
• Estate planning
• Transactional law
• Business transactions / M&A
• Tax consulting
• Business brokerage
• Family-office or financial consulting

You are intellectually curious, strategic and comfortable operating in an environment where every client situation can be different. You enjoy solving complex problems, can manage multiple initiatives without becoming overwhelmed and want to broaden your expertise beyond a single discipline. You are also comfortable working directly with sophisticated clients and professional advisors.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree is required; MBA or JD are nice to have but not required.

Willingness to pursue advanced industry credentials (such as the CPWA) sponsored by the firm.
