Job Description

As a Luxembourg-incorporated bank since 1979, together with the global presence of Bank of China Group, Bank of China Luxembourg has been successfully operating and continually developing its business over the years and has contributed to the local and worldwide economic and social development. With more than 45 years of expertise and experience in the European markets, Bank of China Luxembourg extended its roots from Luxembourg and covering 15 institutions located in 13 European countries and becoming Bank of China Europe, since 2022.

Bank of China (Central and Eastern Europe) Limited Vienna Branch was registered and established in December 2015. It is a cross-border branch of Bank of China (Central and Eastern Europe) Limited in Austria and also the first Chinese financial institution to be established in Austria.

Since its opening, the Vienna Branch has operated corporate banking business, providing services such as corporate deposits and loans, international settlements, and treasury services. We provided the following customer groups with quality services: Fortune 500 companies, ATX constituent stocks companies, leading Austrian enterprises, local 'hidden champions', and Chinese ' going global' enterprises.

In addition to the Austrian market, the Vienna Branch also assumes the important responsibility of covering markets in neighboring countries such as Slovenia and Croatia. It continues to support Chinese enterprises in their investment and business activities in the region and actively promotes economic and trade exchanges and financial cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries.

As our operations continue to grow, we are currently looking for a talented and motivated professional to join our team as Relationship Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand customer relationship to a full range of banking services and products, such as trade finance and financial markets, enhancing the overall profitability.
  • explore potential business opportunities and provide financial services to both existing and target customers. including but not limited to fully communicating and understanding the needs of the customer needs, providing applicable financial service and products, formulating marketing plans, organizing customer visit/meetings.
  • Independent evaluation of credit project and writing of credit report for decision makers; Operate with Internal systems; monitoring for post-loans.
  • contact for interbank, performing tasks in respect of interbank cooperation, such as complex syndicated loans, SSD loans, trading and other opportunities.
  • Be involved in the KPI assessment,
  • Assist Team Leader to complete other business/marketing related matters.
  • Cooperate and coordinate with BOC group members.

Qualifications

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Economics, Commerce, Finance or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field of large corporate finance.
  • Have excellent interpersonal communication skills and social competence.
  • Fluent in German and English, Chinese skills would be a plus point.
