Within International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB), we serve 41 million customers globally, including 6.7 million who are international, from retail customers to ultra high net worth individuals and their families. We help our customers to take care of their day-to-day finances and to manage, protect and grow their wealth. Our key areas of operations include Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Asset Management, Global Private Banking and Insurance.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with an assigned portfolio to growth assets under management and revenue.
  • Manage total wealth of clients by matching financial and investment product solutions to their financial needs, and monitor the portfolio regularly to identify additional business opportunities and revenue growth potential.
  • Promote banking services to potential customers, explore their needs and make referrals to other business units where appropriate.
  • Work closely with other HSBC departments, including International Wealth and Premier Banking, Corporate and Institution Banking and Global Banking and Markets, to identify cross-selling opportunities and bring all of HSBC’s relevant products and services to our clients.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSBC’s internal control standards, including areas of risk, regulatory compliance and financial crime compliance, and implement internal and external audit points in a timely manner.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • University level education, preferably in finance, business or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years’ relationship management experience.
  • Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong focus on client service.
  • Excellent understanding of financial markets and wealth management products.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems.
