As a Relationship Director, you’ll be providing financial services to Mid-Market growth businesses by engaging them with respect, professionalism and credibility in all situations. In order to succeed in your role, you’ll develop a robust network of external contacts across the wider business community. You’ll also be using your leadership and motivational skills to manage a sub team, which will contribute to the performance and sustainable profitability of your franchise.

We’ll expect you to have proven experience in a financial role along with a clear understanding of credit markets and best practice in lending. You’ll have the ability to analyse and interpret complex corporate situations, anticipate future business trends and evaluate strategic options. Additionally, you’ll have a background in providing imaginative and creative solutions to complex problems.

A Diploma in Lending Skills is a professional qualification awarded by the Chartered Institute of Bankers that’s widely recognised across our industry, and designed to equip you with the knowledge, understanding and skills relating to the commercial lending environment in our digital age.
With 18 months to complete your studies, you’ll have the ability to tailor a journey to your own individual learning needs too, which will combine self-study in the form of workbooks and e-learning, and workshops.
