Job Location: Plano Branch - Plano, TX 75024
Position Type: Full TimeThe Relationship Banking Associate I works in conjunction with a Mentor Lender and Director of Credit Underwriting to help manage and promote the maintenance of an existing loan portfolio that adheres to all applicable credit policies and compliance requirements.

Essential Duties:
- Monitor loan repayment activities, loan covenants, and financial condition of borrowers.
- Manage the portfolio of the Mentor Lender for upcoming reporting requirements, resolve any past due documentation and/or payment exceptions
- Track, request and review renewals and new money, as Mentor Lender requests, including the management of approval/modifications, customer review, legal review and booking
- For new money requests, analyze financial data to determine the merits of loan requests, recommend structure and provide oversight/guidance to Credit Underwriting in the underwriting/Approval Memo process
- Work with existing clients directly to understand credit needs and represent the bank in developing and maintaining those client relationships
- Meet with at least [2] clients, [1] prospect and [1] COI per quarter
- Work with local lenders to field/assist with cold calls, evaluation and potential structuring (minimum of [1] per month)
- As time permits, attend Executive Loan Committee weekly
- Establish relationship with assigned Treasury Management Officer and develop understanding of top treasury products and how to identify cross-sell opportunities
- Identify referral opportunities of other bank services
- Lead/assist with the preparation and/or review of written loan terms and commitment letters
- Participates in at least one community and business function per quarter to ensure a positive image of the bank in the marketplace
- Be a team player, who is detail oriented, has good analytical and problem solving skills, and is self-motivated
