
About this Role
The Relationship Banker is responsible for building client relationships, identifying financial needs, recommending banking solutions, and supporting branch growth through proactive service and sales activities. This role serves as a key client-facing banker in the branch and is expected to deliver a high-quality client experience while contributing to individual and branch sales goals.
The Relationship Banker works with new and existing clients to open accounts, deepen relationships, generate referrals, support digital banking adoption, and connect clients with appropriate banking products and internal business partners. This position requires strong customer service, consultative sales skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify opportunities during everyday client interactions.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience as a Personal Banker, Universal Banker, Relationship Banker, Branch Banker, Financial Services Representative, Consumer Banker, Credit Union Member Services Representative, or similar retail banking or financial services role.
Successful candidates will have experience in customer service, relationship building, needs-based selling, cross-selling banking products, referral generation, and supporting sales goals in a retail banking, credit union, financial services, or customer-focused sales environment.

This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, NMLS, after hire.
