A DAY IN THE LIFE

BSNB is looking for a Relationship Banker to provide personalized service and financial solutions to customers throughout the Capital Region. This position combines transaction processing, account servicing, and customer relationship management with branch support responsibilities.

On a daily basis, you will assist customers with a variety of banking transactions while helping them identify products and services that support their financial goals. In addition to delivering outstanding customer service, you will support branch operations and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. This position may require to work at different branch locations throughout the Capital Region. Saturday availability is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other account services.
• Build relationships with customers and identify opportunities to recommend products and services that fit their needs.
• Open, maintain, and service consumer and deposit accounts.
• Resolve customer inquiries and provide solutions with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Support branch operations and assist with operational tasks as needed.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers regarding bank products, services, and digital banking capabilities.
• Maintain compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to branch sales and service goals through relationship-building and customer engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Successful candidates will have a minimum of an Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in a sales and/or service-oriented environment required.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• One to three years of experience in a customer-focused setting; banking experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multitask required.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to utilize computer systems and banking technology efficiently.
