Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; and where applicable, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys, develops the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management and controls.

Join us as a Relationship and Referral Lead at Barclays where you'll be responsible for supporting the customer lifecycle by driving effective customer engagement and contributing to the financial confidence agenda, including how customers are supported in making investment decisions. This role involves assessing whether customer propositions remain suitable and aligned to personal needs while monitoring overall customer experience. On a day-to-day basis, you will identify, manage, and anticipate potential and future risks, ensuring customers are appropriately referred to solutions or colleagues that best meet their circumstances.
To be successful as a Relationship and Referral Lead, you should have experience with:
Proven stakeholder management skills, including effective engagement with senior stakeholders
Great communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and confidently
Experience in risk identification, management, and control within a regulated environment
Knowledge of product and proposition management, including suitability considerations
Solid understanding of the financial services regulatory environment
Good awareness and practical understanding of Consumer Duty requirements
Demonstrable experience working within financial services

Great commercial acumen, with the ability to balance customer outcomes and business objectives
Effective presentation skills, including presenting to varied stakeholder audiences
Understanding of targeted support and how it is applied to meet customer needs
Experience within investment management and/or private banking environments

This role can be based in either London or Northampton.
