The Role

This is an opportunity to join a growing entrepreneurial life insurance organization. We are offering a role within the Flow Operations team of Resolution’s reinsurance business, that will be part of a Flow Reinsurance squad. The candidate will be a critical member of a small team, tasked with supporting the growing new business Flow Reinsurance within the Resolution Group. The role will be integral to administering end-to-end business integration.

This is a varied role, reporting functionally to the AVP, Head of Flow Reinsurance Operations, that will require management of the day-to-day flow treaties, as well as assisting with onboarding and integration of new transactions from an operational point of view. The role will require an element of client relationship building and will work with all levels of seniority throughout the Company.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Oversight of the day-to-day administration of flow treaties and general operational functions of the Flow Reinsurance team.
• Implementation of effective processes and controls to ensure compliance with treaty requirements, including tracking and monitoring of regular reporting.
• Working on most efficient integration to existing BAU processes.
• Liaise with actuarial, finance, treasury, investments, legal and risk on all aspects of the business, supporting various functions where needed.
• Support existing legacy insurance business, as needed
• Work closely with the technology team to develop effective integration of new and existing business to the tech stack.
• Other duties, as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant reinsurance, finance, accounting or operations experience is required, preferably in the life and annuity sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required; a qualified accountant is preferred.
• Ability to navigate cross-functional teams across various jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as an ability to be flexible and adaptable for a fast-paced company.
• Self-motivation and initiative are required, as well as excellent communication skills.
