Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday

What You’ll Do

Builds accurate expected payment rules in our EPIC and Strata software systems. Models new contracts for reimbursement changes. Audits underpayments and assists in the collection process as needed. Report writing out of Epic and Strata software systems. Communicates the information to the appropriate people and works with them as needed. Works independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds accurate expected payment rules in our EPIC and Strata software system for Hospital and Professional Billing.

  • Updates contracts as needed based upon payor changes or renegotiations.

  • Models’ new contracts for reimbursement changes.

  • Audits underpayments and assists in the collection process as needed.

  • Report writing out of Epic and Strata software systems.

  • Works closely with Managed Care and Revenue Cycle to interpret contract terms and implement changes.

  • Serves as an expert in building contracts out of EPIC.

  • Works independently and develops own projects

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization, so we can assure resources for serving our patients

  • Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance or equivalent or at least 3 years of experience in the field of healthcare reimbursement or contract analysis or in a related area.

  • Strong understanding of payor contract terms, fee schedules, reimbursement methodologies.

  • EPIC Contract Management certification or willingness to obtain.

  • Ability to use excel and communicate appropriately.
