The Rehabilitation Engineer provides engineering expertise as part of a multidisciplinary pediatric team to maximize the use of assistive technology for our patients. This role will focus on designing, modifying, evaluating, and implementing assistive technology and rehabilitation equipment to optimize mobility, communication, independence, and safety to help our patients achieve their individualized goals.

- - - Design, adapt, and customize assistive technology to align with the evaluation of each patient’s functional needs through collaboration with therapists, physicians, and rehabilitation specialists, while collaborating with caregivers to understand needs, preferences, and environmental constraints. Ensure safe, appropriate fit and function of equipment, while providing modifications and maintenance as needed, following all safety and quality procedures.
