Job Description

We’re currently on the lookout for a Rehabilitation Consultant to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions. Achieve real outcomes and long-lasting impact as you enable individuals and organisations to achieve sustainable return to work goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Use your specialist knowledge and skills to help people return to meaningful employment
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, delivering services and advice to a variety of industries across the entire employee lifecycle
  • Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness
  • Support clients to identify future employment or training options
  • Perform assessments in your area of clinical expertise – including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or daily living assessments
  • Case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client progress toward their return-to-work goals
  • Engage with key stakeholders and develop strong relationships that drive successful partnerships

You’ll also need to have:

  • Professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA as an EP
  • Exposure to Occupational Rehabilitation
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application
