We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapy interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector and being part of our tight knit team in Morwell, Victoria. You’ll be joining a high performing multidisciplinary team in Morwell that genuinely supports one another. In this diverse role as a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Some of your day to day includes:

• Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
• Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
• Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
• Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
• Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
• Deliver our innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery

Qualifications

Our new team member will have:

• A qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships
• Excellent time management skills - be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
• A desire to problem solve with the confidence to be innovative, use their initiative and achieve results
• A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits
• Energy and drive to grow our services
• A current drivers' license and access to their own vehicle
