The Rehab Therapy Aide contributes to the provision of therapeutic treatments, by directly assisting with treatment, maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies, equipment and materials, maintaining clean and safe treatment areas, providing clerical and other related support services as necessary at the care sites. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities and some advanced clinical activities. In some locations the Rehab Therapy Aide is required to possess a valid drivers’ license and drive the department vehicles for patient transport or other duties.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
One year of experience working with patients is preferred.
This is a bargaining union position.
