Overview

Rehab Tech Overview:

The Rehabilitation Tech will perform supportive services to the Rehabilitation Department under the direction of the Rehab Director.

Responsibilities

Rehab Tech Responsibilities:•Transports patients as directed.•Assists therapists with treatment.•Coordinates scheduling with the nursing staff.•Prepares patients, treatment areas, equipment and supplies for treatment.•Maintains awareness of change in patient census and programs.•Follows established procedures pertaining to the care of equipment and supplies including completion of cleaning logs. •Ensures that adequate office supplies and supplies for treatments are maintained.•Completing forms and records, making copies, filing forms, obtaining necessary signatures and maintaining orderly and accurate patient records including completion of Triplecheck forms. •Assists with patient and or staff schedule on a daily basis.•Runs and analyzes reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to assist in department operations, compliance, and patient management procedures and communicates information to appropriate individuals. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

• Must have a minimum of a high school education or equivalent.•A minimum of one year health care experience preferred.•A minimum of one year office experience preferred.•Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.•Must be proficient with basic computer skills•Strong organizational skills in order to effectively maintain multiple projects simultaneously.•Requires creativity as well as the ability to work independently.
