The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
Provides clinical direction, mentorship, and leadership to the Rehab Services staff. Assists supervisors in ensuring quality patient care through professional development and education coordination. Coordinates internal and external educational efforts for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, and Speech Therapy, including student internship programs and onsite continuing education. Will work closely with the Rehab Services Management to ensure the advancement and enhancement of clinical skills for all licensed therapy staff while serving as a resource to the department. Performs evaluations, develops, and implements treatment plan for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric populations with various diagnoses. Provides education to patients, families, caregivers, and other health professionals. Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations.
