Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Rehab Aide I or II provides essential support coverage for a fast‑paced outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy clinic. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

Primary responsibilities include maintaining clinic cleanliness and organization; managing supplies and linens; performing various administrative support tasks; and providing physical assistance with patient care under the direction of licensed therapy staff. The Rehab Aide will also serve as backup support for the front desk, including answering phones and assisting with appointment scheduling as needed.

Salary Range: $24.83 – $27.76 per hour. The position may convert to a career appointment.

  • Basic Life Support certified by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • More than 6 months of relevant Rehab Aide experience qualifies for Rehab Aide 2 title.
  • Ability to safely perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, standing, sitting during an eight to ten-hour day.
  • Normal duties involve frequent lifting (up to 35 pounds), transferring patients, pushing a wheelchair up to 500 feet.
