Associate (Regulatory/Funds) | 2-4 PQE | Hong Kong

Our client, a top international law firm, is seeking a 2-4 PQE Associate to join its Financial Markets team in Hong Kong. This is an opportunity to specialize in regulatory and funds-related matters within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will work closely with leading partners on high-value, cross-border transactions and gain exposure to a broad range of complex regulatory and funds-related work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on financial services regulatory matters, including licensing, compliance, and cross-border regulatory issues.
• Support the funds practice, including fund formation, regulatory compliance, and transactional matters.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on high-value, cross-border transactions and regulatory projects.
• Develop expertise in financial services regulation and funds-related matters, contributing to the growth of the practice.

Key Requirements:

• 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm, with a focus on financial markets.
• Strong experience in financial services regulatory matters.
• Experience in funds-related work (e.g., fund formation, regulatory compliance) is highly desirable.
• Excellent academic background.
• International law firm experience preferred.
• Business-level proficiency in Mandarin and English.
