As a Regulatory Specialist in Bangkok, Thailand, you will be a vital part of our dynamic Asia Pacific Regulatory Team and will concentrate on Thailand, Korea, Australia & New Zealand. You will use your expertise in chemical industry regulatory affairs to guide business leaders on regulatory matters, help optimize the position of products in the market and support a regulatory compliant culture. As a hands-on contributor you will deliver business results by obtaining/maintaining product approvals, responding to regulatory challenges, providing effective customer support and ensuring support for innovation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations or policies that may impact Arxada products and be able to advise stakeholders on applicable requirements and route to compliance.
Compile appropriate dossiers to obtain relevant product registrations and other applicable permits for new products
Ensure compliance with Thailand import/manufacture license and notification
requirements for company products, customers’ samples and raw materials
Maintain product registrations to ensure continued compliance for Thailand & Korea.Co-ordinate with our Thai manufacturing plant & hazard communication/labelling teams to ensure that the SAP and Sphera IA tools have the right data, layouts and
rules/algorithms to meet national requirements for SDS and product labels.
Compile responses to customer questionnaires on company products as well as other regulatory inquiries from customers
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in chemistry or life sciences
Business fluent in English and ideally Thai language.
Typically, 3+ years of industrial experience, ideally in chemical industry regulatory affairs
Expert knowledge of the regulatory framework for chemicals - particularly Thailand & Korea. Experience with regulations governing antimicrobials for preservation or hygiene applications is desirable.
Strong scientific understanding of chemistry, efficacy, toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental fate or risk assessment methodologies.
