
Regulatory Specialist
I’m currently recruiting for a Regulatory Specialistto join an innovative and growing organisation within the animal nutrition sector This role offers the opportunity to support regulatory activities for a global product portfolio while collaborating closely with technical and R&D teams. It would suit someone with a scientific background and early career experience in food or feed environments who is keen to develop their expertise in regulatory affairs.
The Role
As a Regulatory Specialist, you will help ensure products meet regulatory requirements across global markets while supporting both existing products and new product development. Working within a collaborative technical team, you will contribute to regulatory strategies, maintain product documentation, and assist with compliance across the product lifecycle.
This is a hybrid roleoffering the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, production, procurement and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Support regulatory activities for an established animal nutrition product portfolio
Assist with preparation and submission of regulatory dossiers for product registrations and renewals
Maintain product certifications and accreditations, including organic standards
Prepare, review and manage technical documentation such as labels and data sheets
Provide regulatory input during new product development activities
Work with R&D teams on trials and regulatory requirements linked to product approval
Respond to technical and regulatory queries from internal teams
Contribute to internal reports and regulatory documentation as required
Skills & Experience
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (such as Animal Science, Biological Sciences or similar)
Around 1–2 years’ experiencewithin a food, feed or nutrition environment
Knowledge or interest in food safety or feed safety regulations
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Desirable
Experience with regulatory processes in food or feed sectors
Knowledge of fermentation processes, silage inoculants or related microbiological manufacturing processes

Comfortable working within an international and multidisciplinary team

Salary & Benefits
Salary:£36,000 – £40,000
Bonus:Up to 10% performance bonus
Pension:7% employer contribution / minimum 1% employee contribution (with option to increase)
