About the Role
The Regulatory Product Compliance Expert ensures HARMAN Connected Car products meet country‑specific regulatory requirements and obtain International Type Approvals (ITA). The role involves collaboration with engineering, test teams, and external certification bodies to secure timely and high‑quality approvals.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage the International Type Approval (ITA) process, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

  • Prepare, review, and maintain documentation required for ITA certification.

  • Align ITA, HARMAN, and customer requirements to create final test specifications.

  • Coordinate with ITA testing laboratories, local representatives, and internal engineering teams.

  • Act as the main technical interface for all certification‑related stakeholders.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Master’s degree in engineering or related field.

  • Technical background in cellular, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, and automotive requirements.

  • Practical experience with regulatory or ITA certification processes.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

  • Experience managing internal and external partners.

  • Experience in the technology or automotive industry.

  • Proactive, organized, detail‑oriented.

  • Strong time‑management and multitasking abilities.

  • Analytical thinking and ability to perform under pressure.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • 2+ years in ITA certification or similar discipline.

  • Knowledge of inter‑process communication.

  • Strong English skills (written and verbal).

  • Availability for occasional international travel.
