This role leads Regulatory Affairs for defined portfolios in Greece & Cyprus, ensuring products are launched and maintained in compliance with local requirements while supporting business growth. It partners closely with commercial, quality, and supply teams, drives effective regulatory strategies, and represents Haleon with external regulatory bodies.
Lead preparation of regulatory documents, dossiers, and applications to launch and maintain products in compliance, while pursuing fast, innovative paths to market. This will include:
Obtain required authorizations to place Haleon products in Greece & Cyprus as early as possible: Submit all required new product files for Greece & Cyprus. Handle registrations, notifications, variations, and renewals to keep product licenses current, valid, and compliant in Greece & Cyprus. Ensure deadlines for product launches, applications, and variation submissions are met. Approve product labeling and artwork in line with Haleon and local legal requirements. Manage labeling text and packaging to ensure compliance with local registrations and corporate prescribing information.
Analyze regulatory issues and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation plans aligned with business needs.
Contribute to a high-performing local team and identify ways to improve performance.
Build stakeholder relationships and represent Haleon in line with company values, policies, and strategies.
Manage compliance across the portfolio, supporting key processes in line with Haleon and local regulations.
Work with functions such as marketing and supply chain to deliver innovation and value engineering projects.
Support strong, compliant claims, advertising, and promotions while addressing and communicating risks: Review and approve promotional materials for compliance with Haleon and local requirements and obtain timely authority approvals for promotional materials and respond with supporting evidence.
Proactively assess and manage the business impact of regulatory changes within scope.
Maintain regulatory compliance databases, systems, and processes.
Maintain strong scientific knowledge of products within the portfolio.
Support quality-driven activities to ensure departmental performance aligns with agreed processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support AW changes and labeling compliance.
Support repacking activities.
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related pharmaceutical field. Preferred fields include Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biology, or Medical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs with knowledge of lifecycle requirements for regulated products.
Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
Understanding regulatory requirements for medicines and as an advantage also for medical devices, cosmetics and food supplements.
Understanding the different needs in different business models – e.g. distributor model, external regulatory vendors.
Knowledge of regulatory strategy for filing of submissions.
Strategic thinking and results driven abilities.
Excellent interpersonal, time management, organizational and communication skills.
Significant general computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
RAC, Master (MBA, MS, MA) or PhD, PharmD, JD QP, ideally in Regulatory Affairs or Pharmacy.
