Job Requirements

We are looking for a Washington-DC based experienced environmental litigation and regulatory associate with 1-5 years of experience, and with knowledge of federal environmental programs and interest in joining our cohesive and effective environmental regulation team. The ideal candidate will have experience with regulatory issues concerning chemicals, pesticides, consumer products, and/or emerging contaminants. Environmental litigation experience, including researching complex issues, managing discovery, and drafting motions, is a plus. The ideal candidate should be committed to providing only the highest-quality work product and advice to the firm’s clients and incorporating feedback from supervising attorneys.


This position requires someone who will take significant responsibility for his or her cases or matters. Candidates should be diligent, proactive, supportive and team-oriented. Only candidates with a strong academic background, superior drafting skills, and strong references will be considered.

The expected pay range for this position is:

$225,000 to 365,000 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
