Job Description

Regulatory Data Quality Associate (Temporary, Full-time)

Duration: 6 - 12 months

Location: Peterborough, Ontario

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay: Dependent on experience.

As a Regulatory Data Quality Associate, you will:

  • Update data in the Credit Union’s systems by reviewing loan and deposit documentation.
  • Recommend changes to internal procedures and systems to prevent or minimize recurring data gaps which may involve analysis of existing data and procedures.
  • Work with other departments as needed to introduce any new or revised procedures.
  • Correspond with end users, data owners or subject matter experts to co-ordinate resolution of data gaps.
  • Provide recommendations on how to mitigate ongoing issues related to data issues. Identify trends, procedure gaps, system bugs and training needs.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
  • Perform other duties as may be required from time to time that are commensurate with the position.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Post secondary education with emphasis in business would be an asset
  • Financial service experience is required
  • Loan administration experience is required
