The Regulatory Consultant has a pivotal role in supporting state regulatory activities, with a primary focus on Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) and Michigan Public Service Commission proceedings, including rate cases and CPCN (Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity) filings for new generation resources.
This role is responsible for developing and executing regulatory filings, testimony, and cost recovery strategies, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and supporting the company’s ability to achieve timely and appropriate cost recovery for major infrastructure and generation investments.
The position serves as a key contributor in translating complex financial, operational, and policy information into defensible regulatory positions, while also supporting case management and coordination across filings.

Regulatory Consultant Senior: $87,633 - $109,544
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND 4 years relative field, operations or analytical experience OR associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND 8 years relative field, operations or analytical experience OR High School diploma or GED AND 10 years relative field, operations or analytical experience.
Regulatory Consultant Principal: $98,993 - $128,689
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND 4 years relative field, operations or analytical experience OR associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND 8 years relative field, operations or analytical experience OR High School diploma or GED AND 10 years relative field, operations or analytical experience.
