As the North America Regulatory & Compliance Manager, you will ensure that the U.S. FlexCare Vehicle Protection portfolio remains fully compliant with state regulations, bank and underwriting requirements, and applicable court decisions. This position is well suited for regulatory professionals with experience in insurance, banking, financial services, extended warranties, or other regulated protection products (such as vehicle, home, appliance, or similar programs).

You will manage the licensing and forms strategy for new and existing products in response to an evolving regulatory landscape. In addition, you will lead compliance related inquiries and responses, collaborate with product teams on regulatory driven changes, and partner with IT and data systems teams to ensure accurate, compliant delivery of consumer terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate annual licensing renewals and regulatory submissions with third‑party legal firms to maintain authorization for the sale of service contracts across all U.S. states and Puerto Rico
  • Develop, review, and update service contract Terms & Conditions, partnering with third‑party vendors to ensure consumer accessibility and regulatory accuracy
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with third‑party financing institutions, insurers, and underwriters supporting consumer loans and protection products
  • Proactively assess and adjust licensing, insurance, and underwriting structures in response to evolving state‑level regulations
  • Serve as the primary lead for regulatory complaint responses submitted to licensing agencies and public forums
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, legal, IT, and operations teams to implement compliant product and system changes

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum 8 years of regulatory compliance experience within insurance, banking, financial services, extended warranties, consumer protection products, or other regulated consumer goods
  • Active Michigan Insurance producer’s license or ability to obtain within six months (preferred)
  • Experience managing contracts, vendors, and external regulatory partners
  • Strong analytical skills with an inquisitive, solutions‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements to IT and system stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
