Responsible for designing, planning and managing the end-to-end change process for projects and/or change initiatives, evaluating the impact of planned changes on people, culture, technology and processes.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Regulatory watch

  • Establish and maintain a robust regulatory watch framework covering Monaco and EU regulations
  • Continuously monitor developments from regulators, industries bodies, and legal sources
  • Identify emerging regulatory risks and opportunities early
  • Produce regular regulatory watch reports and alerts for senior management and stakeholders
  • Maintain a centralised repository of applicable regulations and updates
  • Regulatory Impact Analysis

  • Analyse new and evolving regulations (including, but not limited, EMIR, Mifid II, payments/PDS2/PDD3, AML/CFT, etc.)
  • Assess impact on business activities, client offering, processes, and systems
  • Provide clear, actionable recommendations and prioritisation
  • Regulatory Change Management

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of regulatory changes (gap analysis, design, execution)
  • Translate regulatory requirements into business and functional specifications
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiative across Compliance, Operations, IT and front office teams located in Monaco, Luxembourg and Switzerland
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of regulatory projects
  • Governance & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Define and maintain a regulatory change governance framework
  • Present key regulatory developments and implementation status to senior management and committees
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business lines on regulatory topics
  • Policies, Controls & Documentation

  • Ensure policies, procedures, and internal controls are updated in line with regulatory changes
  • Maintain full documentation and audit trails for regulatory reviews
  • Support internal and external audit

YOUR PROFILE

  • Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 7–10+ years of experience in regulatory change, compliance, or advisory roles within private banking or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of the Monaco regulatory environment and European frameworks (EMIR, MiFID II, PSD2, AML/CFT, etc.)
  • Proven experience setting up or managing a regulatory watch function
  • Skills & Competencies

  • Fluency in both French and English is essential
  • Strong regulatory interpretation and analytical skills
  • Ability to anticipate and translate regulatory developments into business impacts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Structured project management and delivery focus
  • High level of autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail
