We areseekinga dedicated and innovative Regulatory Analyst to support Saxo’s continued growth by strengthening our regulatory solutions acrossSaxo Bank.
In Group Regulatory Reporting, we host and develop the regulatory solutions used across the entire Saxo Group. We design, implement, andmaintainframeworks, processes, and tools that ensureaccurate,timely, and transparent regulatory reporting and oversight.
As a Regulatory Analyst, you will helpoptimizeand enhance our regulatory solution framework to support both business development and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining Saxo’s internal regulatory frameworks and metrics used for decision making and for meeting external regulatory requirements
Designing, hosting, and continuously improving regulatory solutions that serve stakeholders across the global organization
Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of regulatory data and reporting through robust controls, analyses, and reconciliations
Identifying and investigating discrepancies or issues in regulatory data and collaborating closely with Markets, Operations, IT, and other functions to resolve them promptly
Translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, scalable processes and system solutions
Supporting impact assessments of new or changing regulations on Saxo’s products, clients, and business model and contributing to the implementation of new regulatory initiatives and projects
Your profile
You are curious and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in financial regulation, data, and system-based solutions. You bring strong analytical skills and attention to detail, enabling you toidentifyissues and independently ask the right questions to improve accuracy and reliability. You work in a structured way and enjoy tackling complex problems, turning intricate regulatory requirements and data into clear and understandable insights and actions. You are comfortable working in a dynamic and changing environment, where you prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality work under time pressure. You communicate clearly and collaborate confidently with stakeholders across Compliance, Finance, Operations, and IT.
Experience and qualifications:
At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in regulatory analysis, risk or compliance reporting, financial regulation, or a similar analytical role
Experience working with regulatory frameworks and reporting (e.g. FINREP, COREP, LCR, ALMM, NSFR or other Financial statistics) is a strong advantage
A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
Solid experience working with data and reporting tools, such as SQL, Python, or similar
Good understanding of data models, data quality controls, and documentation standards
Strong understanding of financial statements and regulatory reporting concepts
