Wood Commissioning is recruiting for an experienced Regulatory and Compliance Officer to support EDF at Hinkley Point C (HPC). Ideally based locally to the area, successful candidates will be engaged on a 12 month rolling PAYE contract working 40 hrs/week Monday to Friday at the HPC Site in Bridgwater.
Hinkley Point ‘C’ (HPC) is a vital part of the UK’s future energy strategy. As the first of the UK’s next generation of Nuclear power stations, HPC is both of high profile and high complexity. The HPC Commissioning Programme is expanding as it begins commissioning HPC, the first nuclear power station to be built in the UK in a generation.
As a key member of the CommOps team, you'll support coordination across regulatory, compliance and operational interfaces to enable successful project delivery. Working closely with engineering, operational, contractor and project stakeholders, you'll help ensure CommOps activities are undertaken safely, efficiently and in accordance with governance requirements. Your ability to influence, communicate and drive collaboration will be fundamental to maintaining alignment and achieving commissioning readiness.
