Job Description

Would you like to be part of building the compliance foundation for the Business Services team at Netcompany Banking Services? As a Manager, your work will combine compliance, reporting, data and technology, and you will, among other things, explore how AI can be applied to compliance and contribute to shaping the future regulatory setup in NBS. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure from scratch, navigating complex regulatory requirements and combining business, data and technology understanding.

We are currently in the process of developing a new service "Regulatory Services", where you will play a key part in shaping and further developing the unit and services provided. The purpose is to gather a service that can handle the flow from legislation via factual data to risk assessments, annual cycle to spot checks and reporting. We focus on automations, new technologies, leveraging knowledge across the sector and thus providing value to our customers through partnership.

Netcompany Banking Services

We deliver various IT solutions and services to banks and savings institutions across Denmark and other Nordic countries. We provide a modern, cloud-based core banking platform serving more than 50 Nordic banks with over 2 million end customers. Our solutions encompass daily banking operations, mobile and internet banking, payments, investment management, risk management, compliance, and open banking.

Responsibilities and technologies

The role combines compliance, commercial understanding and technology, giving you a key role in shaping NBS’ approach to the area and developing solutions in close dialogue with banks.

  • Engage in dialogue with banks to understand their needs and regulatory challenges.

  • Establish the commercial foundation and help develop NBS’ compliance services.

  • Set the direction for the area and translate regulatory needs into concrete solutions.

  • Identify and drive opportunities for AI in compliance.

About you

In this role, you will work closely with banks, internal stakeholders and different teams across NBS to understand regulatory needs and translate them into practical and valuable solutions. You excel at engaging with senior stakeholders, building relationships and driving dialogue with banks, while also having a commercial mindset and an eye for new opportunities. Internally, you can navigate across functions, create alignment, and help establish the structures and ways of working needed to support the area.

We imagine that you have:

  • Around 5–10 years of relevant experience, with a solid track record within regulatory work, compliance or reporting - ideally from banking, fintech, pension/insurance or a regulatory authority.

  • Experience with inspection visits and dialogue with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance processes, and reporting.

  • Good data and technology understanding, with an interest in how technology and AI can support compliance.

  • A legal background or experience from a compliance or regulatory role is an advantage, but not a requirement.

  • Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken) is a must.
