As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will work closely with regional and global colleagues to support regulatory compliance and market access across Southeast Asia. This is an excellent opportunity to combine scientific knowledge, regulatory expertise, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic international environment.
The Role & Your Impact
In this role, you will support regulatory activities that enable Novonesis’ Food & Beverage Biosolutions business to maintain compliance and expand market access across Southeast Asia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the preparation, submission, and maintenance of regulatory registrations and notifications across Southeast Asia markets.
- Coordinate with regional and global Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure alignment with regulatory strategies and business priorities.
- Monitor regulations relevant to food, beverage, biotechnology, and related industries, and help assess their impact on business activities.
- Provide regulatory support and guidance to internal stakeholders, including Commercial, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, Quality, and R&D teams to ensure consistency across labels, SDS, regulatory statements, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare, review, and maintain regulatory documentation while supporting process improvements and document management activities.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
We are looking for a proactive regulatory professional with a strong scientific foundation and the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Biotechnology, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs or related areas such as Quality, Product Stewardship, Product Development, or Food Safety.
- Experience in ingredients used within Food & Beverage applications is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and regulatory problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a matrix organization.
- Fluent written and spoken English.

- Knowledge of food ingredient regulations across Southeast Asian markets.
- Experience supporting ingredient registrations, product stewardship, or regulatory compliance in life sciences industries.
- Interest in biotechnology, probiotics, enzymes, and innovation-driven industries.
- Strong attention to detail and document management capabilities.
