You will ensure that Flora Food Group’s innovations and products meet regulatory requirements across the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, and Eurasia. This role is essential to unlocking new product opportunities by navigating complex regulatory landscapes and enabling smooth market entry. Your work safeguards our reputation and supports cross-functional teams to deliver better food that meets local standards and consumer expectations. By shaping regulatory strategies, you help Flora Food Group stay ahead in a rapidly evolving food environment.
You will own regulatory compliance across multiple markets and help overcome regulatory hurdles within innovation. You will do this by translating regulatory requirements into clear, pragmatic guidance for the business by ensuring compliance and governance within the innovation pipeline. Success will be measured through effective business partnering, timely regulatory support in projects, ensuring compliance throughout the product lifecycle, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role reports to Regulatory Affairs Manager, Emerging Markets and works closely with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales teams across the AMEA region. You will foster collaboration and accountability, ensuring that regulatory decisions are sustainable and aligned with Flora Food Group’s long-term commitment to responsible food innovation. You will also build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including trade associations and local authorities, to support compliance and effectively navigate evolving regulatory requirements.
You are passionate about food and its evolving regulatory landscape. Your curiosity about nutrition, product claims and communications, and food ingredient innovation drives you to stay ahead of trends and regulatory shifts. You take pride in enabling teams to bring delicious, nutritious, and reliable products to kitchens across diverse cultures. Your role is vital in translating complex rules into practical solutions that support Flora Food Group’s purpose.
You bring strong expertise in regulatory affairs within the food industry, with a deep understanding of the AMEA region’s frameworks. You have experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders, communicating clearly across teams and external partners. Your ability to interpret regulations and guide others through compliance challenges shows your ownership and precision. Fluency in Turkish and English is essential, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
You are genuinely interested in food culture and curious about how consumer behaviour and future food trends shape innovation. You understand that strong brands are built by anticipating what’s next in taste, nutrition and functionality, and by translating insight into meaningful consumer experiences.
This role typically leads to senior regulatory positions within the region or broader global regulatory functions. Over time, you can grow into roles that shape regulatory strategy at a higher level, influencing product innovation and market expansion across multiple geographies.
