Regulatory Affairs Officer (m/f/d)

The Consumer Health division of Bayer S.p.A. is looking for a passionate and curious Regulatory Affairs Officer to join the Italian team.

He/she/they will be responsible for managing regulatory activities for our local Consumer Health portfolio including drugs, food supplements, medical devices and cosmetics.

This is a unique opportunity to build regulatory expertise across different product categories and collaborate with highly engaged cross‑functional teams.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, manage and maintain regulatory activities for the assigned Consumer Health portfolio including lifecycle management, license and registration maintenance, submissions, product information updates and promotional compliance
  • Prepare, submit and coordinate country‑specific regulatory documentation and approval processes with internal stakeholders and external authorities
  • Support and maintain RA IT and lifecycle systems (e.g., DORIS, Synaps, eDAM), ensuring accurate labeling data and statutory text management
  • Review and approve promotional materials to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable codes of practice
  • Monitor, interpret and communicate regulatory intelligence, evaluating impacts for both local and global stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Italy and at enterprise level to align national and European regulatory processes and to ensure compliance during products’ lifecycle management
  • Contribute independently to operational decision‑making while learning from senior regulatory experts
  • Develop and implement local best practices to streamline and enhance regulatory operations
  • Broaden regulatory expertise across medicinal products, medical devices, cosmetics and food supplements through hands‑on portfolio engagement

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs in Consumer Health/OTC. Experience with food supplements will be a plus.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally and across countries; naturally collaborative and curious
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
  • Creative problem‑solver, able to balance technical rigor with practical business needs
  • Exposure to cross‑functional projects (e.g., Marketing, QA, Legal, Supply Chain) and interactions with EU regulatory environments
  • Tech‑savvy, with confidence using regulatory databases and digital collaboration tools
  • Excellent knowledge of Office, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Residence or domicile in Lombardy
  • Fluent knowledge of English and Italian mother tongue
