Manages regulatory assessments of Zone-led NPD projects

A DAY IN A LIFE...

  • Managers as appropriate to ensure alignment, anticipate and manage opportunities and risks, define action plans to be followed at the later stages of the project.
  • As a project manager, she/he leads and manages regulatory knowledge building and business related project activities with proactive participation.
  • Develop and maintain a solid knowledge of pet food regulations in her/his field of competence and share knowledge with RSA colleagues and other relevant functions.
  • Analyse regulatory frame and conceptualise regulatory opportunities for new product development at early stages of I&R (through knowledge of regulatory trends and new regulatory developments)
  • Perform a Regulatory Assessment throughout the project (I2L) and provide guidance with regulatory conclusions and proposals to the project team.
  • Identify potential regulatory risks with proposed alternatives. When necessary, elaborate and implement action plans with cross-functional team to mitigate risks.
  • Provide guidance to the project team about the information needed for RSA to perform a Regulatory Assessment and the need of communicating project changes to RSA in a timely manner.
  • Support markets for those projects where his/her expertise is required. (Technical assistance).
  • Ensure fast and reliable issue resolution (corrective and preventive processes and actions).

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • At least 6 years experience in a regulatory environment, regional expereince is a plus
  • Knowledge in global regulatory within the R&D businesses, markets and/or SBUs or equivalent external experience
  • Successfully lead the regulatory activities in a new product launch.
  • Successfully lead the regulatory activities in a strategic project with the ability to influence and ensure understanding of regulatory affairs.
