Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and academic plans.
- Register students into their respective modules for upcoming semesters.
- Apply and manage grading values in accordance with the Coventry grading system.
- Implement and monitor academic, admissions, and financial holds on student accounts.
- Maintain scholarship records, monitor eligibility criteria, and update awarded students each semester based on academic performance.
- Configure and manage registration setup, including module catalog data (module codes, descriptors, credits, and credit types).
- Create class lists, sections, and subsections (lectures, tutorials, labs, etc.).
- Assign faculty members to modules and allocate facilities and classrooms based on module requirements.
- Enroll students into their registered modules.
- Maintain faculty and facility records, including rooms, campuses, and building resources.
- Coordinate room bookings and monitor room capacities and available facilities.
- Plan and coordinate semester schedules in alignment with student numbers, staff availability, and campus facilities.
- Ensure schedules are clash-free while maintaining a positive academic and social student experience.
- Manage the examination process, including venue allocation, invigilator assignment (maintaining a 1:20 ratio), and preparation of examination timetables in line with the academic calendar.
Qualifications / Years of Experience / Education
Qualifications: Punctual, presentable, committed, and reliable.
Years of Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in academic administration or a related field.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
Job Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Basic knowledge of academic administration, registration, and examination processes.
- Experience or familiarity with Student Information Systems (SIS) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
