Registration Services Associate, Admitting & Registration
Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Variable Shifts

Accurate collection and data entry of the required financial and demographic information for all patients at time of scheduling, pre-registration and registration. Accurate verification of benefits and pre-certification requirements. Collections of required co-insurance, deductible or deposits from patients. Projection of a professional manner when dealing with all customers.
Minimum Education
Must be a high school graduate. Completion of college-level business office training preferred. Must be able to type a minimum of 45 net wpm. Must demonstrate proficiency in English, be able to read with comprehension and write legibly; Must perform basic arithmetic calculations and demonstrate ability to use copiers, calculator within Registration Departments standards. Must demonstrate expertise with the use of personal computers, optical imaging, scheduling, pre-registration and registration.
Must be familiar with and demonstrate knowledge of insurance procedures and hospital services and charges. Must complete MMC Registration insurance training and pass insurance proficiency assessment.
Minimum Experience
One (1) year of experience in hospital registration, business office or physician’s office, required must have experience in successfully performing clerical duties.
