Job Description

The Registration Desk Specialist serves as the primary receptionist for the program, handling incoming calls and providing essential clerical and administrative support. This role ensures smooth front-office operations and supports various program functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and triage calls, gathering and logging pertinent information.

• Serve as receptionist for the program, ensuring a welcoming and organized reception area.

• Perform routine clerical tasks including typing, filing, copying, and faxing.

• Maintain confidential and organized office filing systems.

• Register individuals and input data into computer systems.

• Oversee use, maintenance, and repair of office equipment.

• Assist with ordering and stocking office supplies.

• Support billing and audit data collection processes.

• Maintain petty cash in accordance with organizational policies.

• Adhere to The Centers’ compliance standards, including Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.

Other Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.

License or Certification:

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of clerical or office experience required

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities

• High level of organization and accuracy

• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Working Conditions:

• May work in an office or behavioral health facility.

• May have contact with individuals who are agitated or confused.

• Physical demands include frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of hands.

• May require lifting up to 20 pounds.

• Requires use of corrected vision, color vision, and auditory senses.
