Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever grading is followed) with 8–15 years in academic/government administration, with at least 5 years at a supervisory level i.e Deputy Registrar or Office Superintendent.
Statutory Support: Prepare agendas, maintain records, and draft minutes for the Governing Body, Academic Council, and College Development Committee (CDC).
Regulatory Liaison: Coordinate official approvals and compliance with the University of Mumbai, UGC, Joint Director (Higher Education), and NAAC.
HR & Office Operations: Supervise non-teaching staff, maintain service record, manage leaves/promotions, and oversee general campus administration.
Admissions & Exams: Supervise student eligibility verification, enrollment records, and support the autonomous Examination Cell.
Legal & RTI: Act as the college Public Information Officer (PIO) for RTI applications and manage institution legal matters.
Any other duties and responsibilities assign by the authorities.
Proficiency in Marathi and English; computer certification; typically, 35–45 years (with standard government age relaxations).

This comes with its equal share of challenges and opportunities and the key to harnessing India's demographic dividend is education.
In the year 2016-2017 the college was accredited by the National assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of the UGC, with a CGPA of 3.04, an A grade. This was a huge achievement as the College undertook this exercise for the very first cycle after its inception in 2003.The College has always been fortunate to receive the whole hearted support from the top management of SVKM, that includes the president, the mentor and all the administrators who have created the environment to foster learning and stimulate our intellect by believing in the team. The recognition as the top 20 promising Colleges of Media & Mass communication in India in the year 2018 by the Higher education forum only added to this belief.
The college has grown from a handful of students to a total strength of 1680 in the academic year 2019-2020 and has a bouquet of courses to offer in under graduate and post graduate education.
