Job Description
Position Summary:
To provide clerical, secretarial and administrative assistance to school administrators, conveying information regarding student registration and information, while supporting the broad array of services and support provided to students, parents, and teachers.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assists staff, students, parents and all visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Makes and receives phone calls, takes messages, and routes calls
- Responds to inquiries from students, teachers, parents and the community
- Updates demographics information in E-school
- Keeps Congnos cycle reporting information updated
- Maintains school records and files
- Compiles and submits a variety of daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly reports as requested
- Maintains student grades/transcripts throughout the year in E-School, Triand, and the Teacher/Home Access Center
- Inputs enrollment course selection, teacher name changes, and room number changes in E-School
- Notifies teachers of grade transfers
- Assists counselors with maintenance of student scheduling and master schedule
- Input new student information
- Request records from previous school for all new students
- Prints schedules and coordinates distribution prior to each semester
- Coordinates grades for report cards (TAC and HAC)
- Prints report cards and coordinates distribution at each term
- Process student transcripts and records requests when requested
- Enroll new students throughout the school year
- Adhere to all policies of the District
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by the building administrator and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent

- Ability to use computer network system and software applications
- Ability to communicate effectively both in oral and written form
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and all other stakeholders
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and conflicting time constraints
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work
Qualifications
- Successful completion of all background checks
Contract Days: 200 days
