Position
Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and
detail-oriented Registrar to join a dynamic campus team. The Registrar plays a
crucial role in supporting the academic operations of the campus by managing
student records, ensuring compliance with academic policies, and assisting with
documentation related to academic achievement.
This position is full-time and onsite.
You must be able to commute to Rockford, Illinois.
Key
Responsibilities
•
Maintain and manage student files in accordance
with company policies, including processing new enrollments and handling
student requests
•
Verify and approve enrollment documentation such
as agreements, graduation proof, background checks, and programmatic tests
•
Assist in ensuring the collection and accurate
record-keeping of all required documentation
•
Process education verifications, student
demographic updates, and information releases
•
Handle official transcript requests promptly and
accurately
•
Assist in the registration process and manage
scheduling changes due to course failures or other adjustments
•
Input term schedules into the student management
system (CampusVue)
•
Provide students with documentation verifying
their academic status
•
Process withdrawals, both involuntary and
voluntary, ensuring timely and accurate completion
•
Manage incoming registrar-related mail
•
Process various status changes (e.g., future
start, re-enter, drop, leave of absence, graduation, etc.)
•
Enter and maintain data for Advanced Academic
Standing Evaluation forms for transfer credits
•
Regularly report on enrollment statuses,
cancellations, attendance issues, and student status changes to academic
leadership
•
Track and report on externship attendance and
progress for applicable programs
•
Approve POG (Program Outcome Goal) submissions
and process related reports
•
Run daily reports related to course
requirements, status changes, attendance, and student progress
•
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure
smooth campus operations
Qualifications
& Skills
•
Associate’s degree preferred; High School
Diploma/GED required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work
experience
•
Three years of work experience in student
services within a college setting, preferably in enrollment-related services,
admissions, registration, or records
•
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced
environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy
•
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work
independently and stay task-focused
•
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word,
Excel), database software, Google Docs, and internet.
•
Previous experience with CampusVue is a plus
•
Must be punctual, responsible, organized,
ethical, and a team player
•
Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills
(written and verbal) required
•
Strong organizational skills and attention to
detail
•
Must maintain professionalism and
confidentiality of employee information and campus records
•
Must be flexible to work earlier or later shifts
or weekends as needed
Compensation
& Benefits
Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 per year
